CHRISTMAS IN MARYLAND/WASHINGTON D.C.

So, I am at Grandma and Grandpa Weed's house. They live on Fort Meade Army Base in Maryland. Every day when we leave/return to the base we have to get checked in and out...kind of funny if mom and dad are by themselves without Gi and Gma because then they have to get all checked out.
We have had a CRAZY time! I loved flying here and looking out the window as we landed (I am definitely my mother's son and not daddy's...he H a T e S landing and taking off.)
I was given so many toys from Gi and Gma that my head is Spinnnnnnnnnniiiiiinnnnnggggg! I crash into my bed/pack n play at night and then wake up right in the middle of the night and mom has to scoot herself off the blow up mattress trying not to fall off and wake up daddy to get to me. HAHAHAH! It's kind of funny!
Grandpa Weed loves loves loves to play with me! We sit on the floor and bounce balls back and forth and OH YEA they got me a rocking horse that makes a clickety clack sound and neighs. I love it - Ride Em CoWbOy - YEeHAwWWW!

Burn Baby Burn

Well everyone...mom's flat iron officially sucks! I now have burns on two of my fingers and have to have bandages on them. ANNOYING! I am also on a nebulizer (I think I already told you all about that)...so talk about high maintenance. I just got back from playing with my cousins, Hannah and Jonathan. It was Aunt Lydia's birthday yesterday and so we went over to have ice cream cake and I played with the twins, and got a new jacket (well, I suppose it's a hand me down....but new to me!) YAY!

Today was also church and I got to play with Grandpa Shurl and Grandma Lois. Grandpa played chase with me. I fell asleep on the way to Wal-Mart after that and Mom and Dad had to carry me through the store I was so tired. I had ham for the first time tonight at dinner time. It was so yummy I kept asking (grunting) to mom for more!! YUMMY!

Nebulizer

Hey everybody...sorry, but my mom just hasn't had any time to get on here. I keep her very busy...hee hee hee! I like to run around and grab things all over the house now, like toilet paper and toilet water (if they forget the lid) and mom's cup on her nightstand and I always go for the remote control. They thought that they could fool me with a "copy remote", but I know better!

Well, I went to the doctor because my mom was worried about my cough and my chest and now I have to breathe a couple of times a day through a nebulizer. It is this mask that delivers me some medicine...I do REALLY good on it...most of the time.

It's a count down now until my first plane ride. I take off into the great unknown on December 22nd!!! I wonder what drugs I will get out of this trip?! It's our Christmas trip to my grandparents in Washington D.C. (well really Ft.Meade, Maryland.)

We also got our Christmas tree this weekend and listened to Christmas music....I love to dance...well, I don't know if it is dancing but it is bouncing up and down and waving my hands in the air!

Cry myself to sleep...

Well, I guess that mom (and Aunt Susie) decided that I am ready to cry myself to sleep. Tonight was the first night and I suppose it went ok because it only took about 25 minutes...and mom came in one time and just rocked me for a while to calm me down. I fell asleep with my butt in the air. Mom was laughing when she checked on me.

This week has been crazy dudes! The holidays are fun and I have eaten so much new food; Turkey, mashed potatoes, chili, cauliflower and yum yum...strawberries and ICING!!! Give me more of that stuff!

I tried something new tonight. I tried to crawl into the tub...well, I guess it isn't the first time. The other day I sort of slid into the shower while my mom was showering. My pajamas got totally soaking wet - ha ha! Tonight though I had my whole foot on top of the ledge and used my muscular arms to pull myself up...almost, but not quite!

First Thanksgiving!

Wow! What a day! Today was my very first Thanksgiving and I learned that I am thankful for a lot of things. I am thankful for strawberries (I ate my first whole strawberry pieces today), I am thankful for white frosting (THANKS DAD!), and I am thankful for Grandma Lois' rolls (my teeth actually made a little dent in the roll (I have two little bottom ones now!) I ate stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry stuff, rolls, turkey, cauliflower and corn today!! I love Thanksgiving.

I am also thankful for my Aunt Susie, because of her I was able to eat those strawberries and icing. Mom and Dad made her a strawberry ice cream cake for her birthday, it's tomorrow. Oh, speaking of birthday's we called Gi and wished him a happy birthday too!

I am now sleeping soundly and completely worn out from playing so hard with my cousins and Grandpa Shurl.

Hey everyone! I thought I would show you a picture of me hanging out with my cousins! We have so much fun together! I can walk almost as good as my cousins (the twins) and I try to keep up with them. I love to hug my other cousins, Max and Eli...they spend the night over here and we play on the big blow up bed. I like to slide off the side with Eli!

GOOD MORNING WORLD!

Hey everyone...I am so full of energy this morning that I thought I would write a blog first thing. I slept through the night last night! Mom was so happy this morning...I should do that more often. :) I think it must have been all the ravioli and peas I ate last night. They must have filled me up enough to make it through the night! I love ravioli now...except Mom didn't put any sauce on it, what's up with that?! Well, I am off to "school" now...Mom calls it school even though it is really daycare. I guess I learn a lot there so we can call it that! BYE BYE!

What a week!

Talk about a week...does it really all have to be like this?! I have been teething and how are my parent's supposed to know what to do, they can't even understand what I am trying to tell them. I also caught a bug...no, not the fun kind of bug catching. I have had a fever since last Wednesday. It finally broke (why do adults call it that?) on Saturday, phew! I am still being finicky with my eating and I need a lot of sleep. Today has been a rough day because I missed my first nap this morning, but this afternoon we made a surprise for G'ma and Gi and Grandma and Grandpa. Yay! They will see it soon...okay, I only sort of helped because I was cranky, but ya know...I did my part. You will see it soon...or you can take a peek at mom's blog.

Let's see...what else did I do this week. I fed myself with the spoon without making a mess, I am walking really, really good and I like sharing my food with other people. I fed mom my cheerios this week...I am a good sharer. I really like to clap now and try to get anyone around me to clap their hands.

Tooth - Yay!

Well, Mommie and Daddy have been waiting for my teeth to come through forever. My teeth were just sitting below my gums for like a month and a half now and I was drooling everywhere (I still am drooling everywhere!) Last night it hurt so bad I would just wake up crying in the middle of the night, but this morning....TADA!!!!!! I have one tooth that broke the surface! Mommie put Oragel on it this morning (as she said out loud..."Oh, that is sharp!" DUH MOM!) to help num it for me (thank goodness she finally figured out WHY I was crying at her!) Hopefully the other bottom one breaks through soon. I am off to church now, so I just thought I would update everyone on my amazing progress! I am amazing!

P.S. Last night I had my first eggroll insides...Mom felt it necessary to dump the middle out and not give me the outside! Hee Hee!

Walking...

I was sort of testing out the parent's last night and decided to walk between them instead of "falling forward", well I actually did it. G'ma and Gi were on the webcam watching me and they thought I was so cool!

Well today at daycare I just kept on practicing at walking, and then tonight at church I showed it off to my Grandpa Shurl and Grandma Lois. They cannot believe how cool I am. They said that my mom walked at 9 months too and she would walk under the kitchen table. I think my dad walked at 9 months too! I am just like them!

I am still so little compared to other walkers that I sort of look funny walking! Hee Hee!

Walking and the Time Change

Well guys, the time change has really thrown me off. I cannot figure out when I should be going to sleep or eating. I am trying though before I drive my parents nutso.

Two days ago I started waving goodbye. Mom and Dad sort of thought it might just be me waving my whole arm just crazy like, but duh! I was waving goodbye. So tonight they were testing me and I was waving goodbye at all the right times for them. :) I also practiced walking across the living room over and over and over tonight. I took a few steps here and there to see my parents get all giddy, but really I just wanted the hugs at the end of the "walk."

Well, goodnight everyone. I am off to crib.

Games...

Last night I was with my daddy most of the night. We went and picked out a costume to wear at school on Thursday and I picked a tiger. Dad picked out a mullet - it looks better on me!

Anyway, I started playing this little game with my daddy where he says, "Come here..." and I reach out my hand and right when he goes to grab it I pull away, crawl away and start laughing...aren't I so smart?!

Pumpkin Patch

Today my mom and dad took me to the pumpkin patch. We walked through a fun maze and I tried to lose one of those shoes they put on me, but they found it! Then we walked through a bunch of pumpkins trying to pick out which one the big people liked. They didn't even consult me. Max and Eli (my cousins) came with us and they were running around trying to find one that they thought had the most seeds in it. After that we went and looked at some new puppies at my mom's friends house. Mom says she will post those pictures later on.
